Yellow Springs School District hosts public meeting

YELLOW SPRINGS – Yellow Springs Schools invites parents, guardians, students and residents to attend an informational meeting in regards to state assessments on Thursday, Sept. 17.

“We know that the issue of state assessments is very important to our community,” Superintendent Mario Basora of the Yellow Springs School District said. “During this meeting, we will provide information about state testing for the 2015-16 school year and an update on our efforts to secure a federal waiver to give Yellow Springs the opportunity to lead the way in developing meaningful methods of measuring student success.”

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in the gymnasium at Mills Lawn Elementary School.
