BELLBROOK – Bellbrook Fire Department will host a special child safety seat inspection drive through 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Fire Station 22, 4254 W. Franklin St.

While installing and using child safety seats may appear to be easy, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has estimated that close to 3 out of 4 parents do not property use child restraints. The Bellbrook Fire Department has teamed up with Dayton Children’s Medical Center and Safe Kids USA to bring parents from the community to have seats inspected. The program is designed to ensure all children under age 8 are property restrained in the event of a motor vehicle crash. The drive through is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn how to safely transport children.

This free service will be provided by Bellbrook Fire Department. To schedule a specific time call 937-878-3272.
