FAIRBORN — Fairborn High School received a bomb threat approximately 11:10 a.m., leading the school to evacuate the students and the Fairborn Police Department and individuals from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to conduct a sweep of the building.
Students were permitted to re-enter the building approximately 1:10 p.m. after receiving the clear; those who missed lunch were provided a meal, and dismissal was planned to take place at its regularly scheduled time.
The district sent out a one call and e-communications message to parents and guardians, and posted to its website and social media profiles to the community.
