XENIA — Greene County Veterans’ Services will host a special medal presentation for area World War II veterans Monday afternoon.

WWII veterans at the event will be honored with a medallion presentation ceremony at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at 571 Ledbetter Road, Xenia. Each veteran will be presented with a gold medallion and a WWII veterans hat in honor of their service and sacrifice.

“Come out and join us as we honor ‘The Greatest Generation’ of heroes, who literally saved our world,” a release from Greene County Veterans’ Services states.
