CEDARVILLE — Cedarville high and middle schools recently named their January students of the month.

Recognized were Drew Koning (12th grade), Ellianna Ferguson (11th grade), Ellie Schulte (10th grade), Emily Bush (ninth grade), Cooper Hardy (eighth grade), Allie Ankeney (seventh grade), and Bailey Hawkins (sixth grade).

The schools sent the following information about each student.

Koning — Drew excels in the classroom, is an all-around caring friend, is patient and will help when he sees a need. Most of all Drew is humble and kind.

Ferguson — Elliana is a focused student, a good leader, a hard worker, and very involved.

Schulte — Ellie is sweet, kind, and responsible in everything she does.

Bush — Emily is a quiet leader, focused on doing a good job. She is always willing to help with a smile and a good sense of humor.

Hardy — Cooper is a hard worker, asks good questions, and has a positive attitude.

Ankeney — Allie is always consistent, hard working and seeks to challenge herself. She always has a smile.

Hawkins — Bailey is a hard worker, kind hearted, and helpful to others. She is responsible, has a great work ethic, and is a joy to have in class.
