Land Trust Annual Harvest Auction set for Oct. 6

YELLOW SPRINGS — Tecumseh Land Trust is holding its 19th Annual Harvest Auction from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 at the Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center, 275 South Limestone St., Springfield.

Tickets include live music by the Howdy Boyz, heavy hors d’oeuvres by Seasons Kitchen, desserts by the Yellow Springs Baking Company, beer, wine, and apple cider. If you can’t join in person you can still be part of the action. Online bidding is available for the silent auction items. Live Auction items are only available to those who attend in person and include Ohio State football tickets, special dinners and wine tastings, exclusive get-aways, soybean seeds, invasive species removal package, and more.

Tecumseh Land Trust is a member supported, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving farmland, and natural and historic sites in Clark and Greene counties. The land trust has preserved more than 36,000 acres in partnership with private landowners. Its goal is to preserve 50,000 acres in both Clark and Greene counties, assuring ample food supply and clean water for future generations, while educating communities about the areas agricultural heritage.

This annual event brings together a wide variety of supporters of the land trust, including many of the landowners who have taken steps to preserve their unique properties.
